Hello, my name is Jarda and I come from Olomouc Region in the Czech Republic. I am a big fan of new technologies, science, sports, music and travelling. I like to meet people and learn the stories they have and I really like if it is done in an informal way.

I am working as a team leader for a few different groups working on a SW for scanning electron microscopes. I really like to see people improving and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I have learned about couchsurfing, I thought like this is an excellent way to meet people and visit new places when I travel and also meet people who travel to Czech Republic. I work in Brno, it is a frequent destination for travelers, so I am really excited and looking forward to meet new people and possibly make some friends!

I like all types of music, but rock is the most loved, such as Paramore or Evanescence :)
I like all kinds of science fiction movies, fantasy, comedies and psychology dramas. Stargate, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, even Harry Potter :)
I like fantasy books, I have read the The Malazan Book of Fallen series and I loved it. I also read various books regarding self improvement since I need it to support my work.
