Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING loads of space at home, spread the idea to friends and other travellers; only reccomend bewelcome since 14th of September 2012 due to the new TOU 2012 Swingolf Event 2011 Organised 2 events: making marmelade II; a russian night to remember 2010 This year I discovered the fun of organising CS-events. Organised a garden-cinema event and a making marmelade event. 21.09.2009 very funny, i got two independent interview requests from local newspapers in one week. One Interview about CS is already published, the other one will be published in Oktober... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE hmm to much to write it down, maybe later ;) One of the most crasy stories was in latvia long before joining CS. saved two drunken locals from loosing their driving-license and got invited to their home afterwards...crasy story *rememberandsmile*
Music, Movies, and Books
Once I sat in a train without a book; I catched myself reading the same sign again and again...I need books as much as I need air! Favourites: Prattchett-Fan Allan Dean Foster, Jasper Fforde, Weiss&Hickman, Goodkind All Fantasy + Fiction Musik, to much what i like; hmm easier the other way round: I don't like Military and Militant Musik; German Schlager; POP Try to avoid all TV + DVD Stuff...much to addictive and the worst Drug on the World^^
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Seen: Been in a hot spring in the nepalese mountains; in front of me lightnings, the sides crowded by hundreds of fireflies and in the back a clear sky with lot's of stars... Done: I build up living-communities for mentally or physically disabled people in germany; most of them suffer from dementia. We are offering a more individual alternative to the homes for the elderly where everybody is able to feel like home again. 4 communities founded, 5th in progress
