Chi sono
After doing my bachelor in Munich, I moved to the lovely town of Tübingen for my Masters. I like it so much that I stayed and don't want to leave anytime soon. Tübingen is a town a little like Couchsurfing: dynamic, sustainable, international, open minded and open hearted where people from all backgrounds and generations come together. I work here for an NGO in the field of peace education, a job I really love to do.
In my free time I spent a lot of time foodsaving and sharing (distributing perfectly fine food supermarkets can't sell anymore). So let me now if you are travelling on a low budget, I'll have some tips and tricks to share :).
After High School I Iived one year working as a volunteer in Sucre, Bolivia. I absolutely fell in love with Bolivia in particular and Latinamerica in general and try to visit regularly. Also, I enjoy getting to know new places of course.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I love to travel and to see the world. But I'd describe myself as a "less-is-more"-traveller. Meaning I rather stay at one place a little longer and get to know it then see a lot of places in a short time. I like to feel at home at places that used to be strange to me. I want to see the hidden favorite places of the locals, want to taste the best food and visit the bars people in town like the most. Althoug I'm very interested in history and all other aspects that give a place it's character and make you understand how people think, I don't have the urge to tick of 'sightseeing highlights' . Explore a city or a country with locals is the most exciting way to get to know a new place.
Of course, I also want to give others the chance to experience my own beloved city like that!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
There are so many! But one of my favorite travel-memories is this one:
Sitting in a train to Barcelona. Four seats around a small table. Next to me a french guy my age more or less. In front of him an older french woman and next to her, in front of me an older german man. Me and the french guy had a nice chat in english and spanish. Then we noticed that the french woman really wants to ask the german man sth, but as she only spoke french and he only german they couldn't understand each other. So we just started to have a conversation all together. The german man talking to me in german, me translating it to english for the french guy and he translating it into french for the french woman - and vice versa. Writing this memory down makes me immediatley smile again. :)

Well - except of showing you how to open a bottle of beer with almost anything - I prefer talking and discussing over teaching, happy to share mine and here your thoughts on any topic that interests both of us.
