Sobre mí

Hello! My name is Jasmine :) And as I am writing this I feel weird writing about myself! But here goes! I am from a little city called Singapore, they sometimes call it the tiny red dot! It's between Malaysia and Indonesia. Anyway, I consider myself a shy and reserved individual but still I believe I make a good company! As I am also very curious and love to asks questions. I always love creating a conversation with anyone I meet :).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I always love a new country, being exposed to a new surrounding but I believe that it is just scratching the surface of a country itself. I believe the depth of the country is formed by its people culture, traditions and the way they live. Basically I would love to get to know the people of the country I am visiting and make new friends! Because you guys are the ones that create more meaning to the places that I have yet to visit! :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Well, I'm soon embarking on my work holiday in New Zealand for 6 months! I think that it is pretty amazing considering the longest I've been out of Singapore was a month (and I was with my parents then).

This wasn't really something I did that was amazing but more of memorable. But recently I was in Laos and I went to an English center (Big Brother Mouse) and was given the opportunity to converse with the locals as they were trying to improve their English through conversation with travelers. I really liked the session a lot because I learnt so much from them by talking to them about their culture, festivals and traditions. (They have elephants playing soccer for a festival) I personally found that amazing just imagining that.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can share some basic Chinese 😂 or a Pilates work out or basic chords on a guitar or how to skate 🙆🏻🌸
