I'm an avid trekker. Over the past few years, I have hiked over 4000km (2500mi) in the US, Central America, and South America. Besides spending time outdoors, I love exploring new urban environments - I lived for 1.5 years in New York City and 2 years in San Francisco.

I love reading and watching science fiction. My favorites are the Foundation Trilogy and Dune (the books and movie). I listen to lots of different genres of music, but am mostly listening to electronic (house, techno) at the moment.
