About Me
About Me:
Hey, I’m Javaughn! I was born in the sunny city of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and also grew up in South Florida before eventually making my way to San Francisco. I’m all about connecting with new people, exploring different cultures, and sharing stories. By day, I’m in the startup world, working on ways to bring people together—and by night (or any time, really), you can find me geeking out over collectibles like comics and classic toys.
Interests & Passions:
I’m an outdoors enthusiast who loves to cycle, run, and escape to the mountains for a reset whenever I can. I’m a huge fan of Southeast Asian cuisine (Thai and Vietnamese, especially!) and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, even if the results are unpredictable. I like a mix of planning and spontaneity, which keeps life interesting and full of memorable moments.
What to Expect:
If you’re looking for a laid-back host who’s always up for a great conversation, swapping travel stories, and exploring the city, I’d be happy to welcome you. I enjoy getting to know people over good food, and I’m always curious to learn about what makes each place unique. Let’s connect, explore, and make some fun memories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to experience a place is through the people who call it home. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet others who are open-minded, adventurous, and excited to share their slice of the world. For me, it’s about more than just a place to stay; it’s about creating memories, making friends, and discovering each place’s unique vibe from a local’s perspective. Whether I’m hosting or exploring as a guest, I love the exchange of stories and cultures that makes Couchsurfing so special.
