Fui diseñador gráfico. Dejé el trabajo para viajar durante unos años. A la vuelta comencé a trabajar como guia en tours por Europa y como guia de montaña en viajes de senderismo.

SOBRE MI / ABOUT ME
Hola, me llamo Javi. En 2009 dejé mi trabajo como diseñador gráfico, rompí con mi antigua forma de vida y me marche a Australia, Nueva Zelanda.. en total 3 años viajando. Desde que volví intento seguir con esa misma actitud de viajero aquí, lo cual sí que es un auténtico reto.
Creo que soy una persona fácil, con sentido del humor, que intenta ver el lado bueno de cada situación (aunque con mis nubes negras por supuesto). Me gusta viajar despacio, ir a sitios poco turísticos, hablar con la gente, conocer el lugar... y hablar con señoras que barren! jejeje...

[ENG]: Hi, my name is Javier from Spain. In 2009 I decided to break with my old style of life and I started a long trip. I lived in Australia and New Zealand and then I was traveling doing the TransSiberian. Now again in Spain I'm trying something more difficult: to live in my own country with the same traveller attitude... and trust me, It's not easy.
I think that I'm a really easy going and happy guy. Always trying to be positive. I am a very sociable person, but also enjoy some quiet and alone time. I love nature and travel very, very slow.. Everything can be interesting for me but for example something that I really love is to get lost in an small town and start to talk with an old woman about... whatever! jejeje...

FILOSOFIA / PHILOSOPHY
Intento aprender de todo. Soy un gran observador.
Me encanta viajar porque aprendo con ello, no sólo ver cosas. Me encanta hablar con la gente local y conocer la zona a través de ellos.
Ahora en España, me encanta viajar como si no fuera de aquí, dejándome sorprender con lo que venga.

[ENG]: I try to learn (and be bigger) everyday and I try to change a little bit this world just talking and sharing.
I love to travel but I love people more! I love visit new places but always is people who show me the most amazing things: their culture, their lifes, their ways to be happy...
I really believe that the world is safe, so please don't believe that outside is dangerous like tv says because It's not true!! And something amazing that you can learn traveling is... your own country is full of adventure and amazing people.

Centres d'intérêt

Actualmente de vuelta en madrid, estoy buscando cómo irme a vivir más cerca de la sierra. Mientras intento disfrutar de lo que ofrece la ciudad que es mucho: quedar con amigos, ir al rocódromo, a patinar, teatros y cines....
Conozco bastante bien la Sierra de Guadarrama así que si puedo alojarte, quizás podríamos ir a dar una caminata.

[ENG]: Actually I'm searching for a new place where to live, closer to the nature. But I try to enjoy my time in Madrid meeting friends, practicing rollerblading, slackline, hiking, yoga, rock climbing... I know quite well the "Guadarrama Sierra" in case you are interested for a hiking.
I know that Madrid it is very famous about the night life but If you are looking for a party guy, I'm not the best choice for you. Sorry.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Me encanta el cine, veo todo tipo de películas y siempre que se pueda, en versión original.
Leer ya me cuesta más... sé que quedo fatal diciendo esto. Ahora leo bastante sobre naturaleza y la conexión que existe entre las plantas, cómo se comunican, estrategias de supervivencia...
Por supuesto me gusta la música, escucho de todo. No toco ningún instrumento aunque estoy empezando con el Ukelele y me encanta bailar aunque lo hago sólo muy de vez en cuando.

[ENG]: I love movies, more than read (I know, I'm quite lazy about that) but I'm changing it.
Movies from Japan, Korea, China, Iran... I'd watched a lot of kind of movies.
What I read now is about nature, how the plants&trees are connected between them...
And about music... puf! I hear a lot of kind of music but I don't play any instrument... I love dance and maybe Funky is my favourite music for it.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Hice un trekking por la Gran Muralla en China, en una zona abandonada. Dormia en torreones, hacia fuego, anduve durante horas descazo... fue una experiencia increible!!

[ENG]: I spent a week walking along the Great Wall in China. Sleeping in towers, making fire, walking bearfoot... amazing!!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

Cada vez que me han alojado he intentado no sólo "coger" sino también "dar". Ya sea ayudando a cocinar, siendo educado, compartiendo charla... siendo un viajero que lleva y comparte un poco de energía positiva.

[ENG]: Well, everytime I was a guest, I tried to be nice, to cook, to share... to give! Because some times when you travel It's too easy to forget that you also have to give, not just only to take.
