I love good conversations, whether it’s about philosophy, psychology, or the twists of history or other broad themes. I enjoy exploring places not just for their sights, but for the stories and people behind them.

Travel for me isn’t about ticking boxes, but about connecting, sharing meals, stories, ideas, and laughter.

I am currently on a roadtrip through the Balkans and then over to France, which is why I downloaded couchsurfing in the first place. I'm new to it but I'd love to meet new interesting personalities.

For me, the most valuable part of traveling is meeting people who can show me their world through their eyes. I believe in the exchange of kindness, stories, and perspectives that make travel truly meaningful.

兴趣

I love going out into nature for a hike, although I have to admit I don't have the best orientation and lost way a couple times (it seems to run in my family).

I love music, everything from beats to lyrics, it's production and performance. Art is also a big passion of mine. I've been drawing since I was little and enjoy going into museums as well.

I like good food, and it always tastes better if it's cooked by yourself.

I'm a big movie fan. At the moment I'm at the Sarajevo Film Festival and I intend to come back next year.

Books: I’m drawn to the existential and psychological stuff — Dostoevsky, Camus (The Stranger), Sartre, Nietzsche, Tolstoy. 

Films: I’ve got a wide taste. I love the poetic and awkward style of Paolo Sorrentino, the worlds of the Coen Brothers, and heavy hitters like Requiem for a Dream or Pusher. French cinema has a special place in my heart (La Haine being a favorite). I also have a soft spot for adult cartoons like Archer or the absurdity of Adult Swim shows. Childhood me was obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Penguins of Madagascar and Avatar— and honestly, I still kind of am.

Music

Rap/Hip-Hop (German, English, American, French, Dutch), Blues and Global sounds: Manu Chao’s world fusion, The Funkees’ Afrobeat/Afrofunk, Onda Vaga’s Latin folk fusioni or Italian and Spanish music

I can’t promise Michelin-star cooking, but I can definitely whip up something tasty (hopefully). I enjoy experimenting with food, learning local recipes, and swapping cooking tricks — so if you like a kitchen buddy, I’m your guest.

Most of all, I’ll be a respectful, easy-going guest who treats your home like a home, not a hotel.
