We are well travelled, laid back couple and try to enjoy every moment of life. We have travelled over 100 countries and have travelled to all 7 continents. We have a great sense of humour and enjoy having a laugh and love food. I am a primary school teacher and specialize in teaching music. My husband Jay works as a business analyst in Information Technology. He grew up in Mumbai, but has not had the chance to travel much of India.

We are experienced Couchsurfers and have had the opportunity to host many people and been hosted by some amazing people, we hope to continue this experience on our travel.

We love to cook and have cooked for most of our hosts. I can promise you are in for a treat (see my couch pictures)

In our spare time, we love to dance (salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk, and modern jive), attempt to grow our own fruit and vegetables (we just hope for the best!), cook and have a laugh with our friends.

Please do not ask us to host you if the dates are not available, as we are either hosting someone on those dates or we are traveling. We are travel in India from Dec 25 to Apr 26

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We like to travel like a local and love to explore local areas as well as doing touristy stuff. We are always interested in meeting new people and sharing experiences. We are food obsessed!! Absolutely love trying new dishes.

If I really like something, I often try to recreate it when I return home. If anyone has time to show me how to make a dish, that would be amazing. We're both very helpful in the kitchen.

Jay loves Sc-Fi and Thriller Movies. The last one he watched was 'Wonder' it was a very emotional but totally engaging.
Mel loves drama and comedy but doesn't mind thriller movies.

- Travelled to 5 Stans (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan), the best part of the trip was to camp next to Gateway to Hell (Gas Burning Crater) in Turkmenistan where he got to sleep under the stars :-)
- Travelled over 10000 kms via road in Africa covering South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Kenya.

We love dancing so can teach some dance moves or simple footwork. Mel is a music teacher so that is something we we could share. We always love to share travel tips and travel stories. We love cooking so would love some cooking tips or learn new recipe.
