We' are well travelled laid back couple and try to enjoy every moment of life. My goal is to travel to 100 countries, current I have been to 70+ and have been on all 7 continents. We have a great sense of humor and enjoy having a laugh and love food. I work as a Business Analyst in Information Technology and my work arrangement allows me to take frequent breaks and travel around the world. My wife Mel is a primary school teacher and she also teaches music.
We love to cook and have cooked for most of our host. I can promise you are in for a treat (See my couch pictures)
In our spare time we love to dance (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk and Modern Jive).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to travel like a local and love to explore local areas rather than touristy stuff. We are always interested in meeting new people, sharing our experiences while exploring their hometown.

I love Sc-Fi and Thriller Movies. The last one I watch was 'Wonder' it was a very emotional but totally engaging.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Trekking to Everest Base Camp in 2022
- Trip 5 to 5 Stans in 2023 (Kyrgyzstan,Kazakhstan,Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan) The best part of the trip was to camp next to Gateway to Hell (Gas Burning Crater) in Turkmenistan where we got to sleep under the stars :-)
- 2023 we also travelled to Mexico, Canada, Bangladesh, India, Maldives,Samoa and Caribbean Islands.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love dancing so can teach some dance moves or simple footwork. Mel is a music teacher so that is something we we could share. We always love to share travel tips and travel stories. We love cooking so would love some cooking tips or learn new recipe.
