I’m James! I’m a mostly full-time traveler, I work in the adventure travel industry leading group trips for companies like National Geographic, and I also lead outdoor trips with at-risk youth in Los Angeles when I’m home. Between work I put most of my time and savings into staying on the road for as long as possible!

I studied international studies and journalism in university so I’m a big fan of learning about the culture, history, language and food of everywhere I go.

I'm an open-minded, curious, easy going, low maintenance type of person, and consider myself accepting of people of all different backgrounds and lifestyles.

Motorcycled the length of Vietnam for 2 months.

I caught malaria while hiking through rural mountains in Africa and somehow kept going for a week.
