Hablo muuuuucho, me gusta aprender algo de todo y todxs, viajar es sin duda mi actividad favorita.

I talk a loooot... I try to learn something from everyone i meet and every experience i go through.

espero aprender a reflejar aquello que me gusta ver y admiro en lxs demás sin dejar de apreciar la belleza de lo que nos hace distintxs.

i hope to learn to embody the qualities i admire in others without forgetting to appreciate the beauty of what makes us different.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ahora mismo no tengo espacio para recibir couchsurfers pero sí estoy disponible para encontrarnos y hablar, quizás dar una vuelta si el tiempo me lo permite.

I hosted for a couple of years in Puerto Rico but no longer have the space to do so, for now I am available to meet up and maybe show you around if I have the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mis primeras experiencias fueron en Suiza y fueron excelentes, me hicieron enamorarme de la hermosa comunidad de Couchsurfing. Definitivamente, es difícil volver a otras maneras de viajar ya que CS te ofrece la oportunidad de conocer las ciudades desde el punto de vista de locales y crear lazos de amistad alrededor del mundo entero.

My first experiences with CS were in Switzerland and they were excellent, made me fall in love with the beautiful community of Couchsurfers. It is definitely hard to go back to other ways of traveling since CS offers the opportunity to get to know cities from a local's point of view and establish friendships all around the world.

兴趣

interactuar con diferentes personas, libros, música, películas, salir con amigos (usualmente prefiero ambientes relajados donde puedo darme una cerveza y hablar tranquila pero también me encanta salir a bailar de vez en cuando), historia, pedagogía y educación, movimientos sociales, estudios latinoamericanos, sociología y política, idiomas, culturas extranjeras...comer. mucho :)

interacting with different people, books, music, movies, going out (i tend to prefer more relaxed atmospheres where i can have a beer and talk with friends but i can't say i don't love getting dressed up and going out to dance every once in a while), history, pedagogy and education, social movements, latin american studies, sociology and politics, languages, foreign cultures... and anything that involves food, really.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Ruta Inka 2010 - viaje de mochileo desde Bolivia hasta Guatemala en dos meses. Si digo que fue intenso, me quedo cortísima. Entre la inmeeensa variedad de cosas que conocí ese verano (incluyendo a mí misma, tan clichoso como esto pueda sonar), una de las que más me impactó fue la oportunidad de relacionarme con varios pueblos indígenas a lo largo del continente. Amo a mi país, pero si hay algo que siempre le he envidiado un poco a otras naciones latinoamericanas es que todavía cuenten con poblaciones que descienden directamente de los pueblos originarios de América, ya que en mi isla desaparecieron todos poco después de la época de la conquista. Tenía 19 años y creía que sabía mucho. Este viaje me hizo reconocer mi propia ignorancia a la vez que me motivó a tener como meta utópica el erradicarla. Me regaló también la oportunidad de conocer muchos seres extraordinarios sin los cuales la experiencia jamás hubiera sido tan grata.

I LOVE my island and everything about it, so I could share what I know about its history, language, salsa dancing and damn good cooking :) I also love to explore the island (it's small, but I haven't seen everything yet) and visit new beaches and rivers I haven't been to, so I would love to share those experiences with other people as well.
