Please be aware that we are a family with a child (10yo), we appreciate that you address your request to both of us.
Our house is located about 20 minutes from downtown Columbia by car with no public transportation options.
Our daughter is in bed by 9:00 pm, and wake up around 6AM, so if you want to spend the night out and/or sleep in late without being bothered, you might have a more enjoyable stay elsewhere.
We also try to keep the house clean and organize, so we appreciate our hosts to contribute keeping the order.
Me and my husband, both of us work, so it's hard for us to share time with you during the day, but we can help giving you some info about the city.
We have a couch in the living room or either the air mattress, maybe you could sleep in the bedroom (our daughter's room). But we will always provide clean sheets and a towel for you.

The apartment is cozy, with the living room directly facing the kitchen. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll be greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the early mornings. Additionally, there’s a scenic hiking trail nearby that winds through the woods, perfect for a peaceful walk in nature.

👨‍👩‍👧ABOUT US
We are from Colombia, South America. My husband Carlos and I, along with our 10-year-old daughter Camila, are passionate about exploring new places and making the most of every adventure. We share a love for music—especially classic rock—and enjoy staying active through jogging and working out. Carlos has a deep connection to nature and animals, while I’m a dedicated teacher with a strong passion for helping others.

As a family, we love spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, hiking in the mountains, or relaxing at the beach. We recently moved to Columbia, South Carolina, and are excited to embrace our new life here. We’re easygoing, open-minded, and enjoy discussing everything from everyday topics to more profound conversations. Whether it's enjoying a glass of wine, a cold beer, or just good company, we’re always up for a chat and new experiences.

At the moment, we are not moving a lot. We are focusing on our jobs.

Once, I was tasked with translating from French to Spanish for a major company that was conducting maintenance on a large-scale machine.

In our family I speak English Spanish and French, Maria speaks Spanish and English same as Carlos.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you plan to stay with us, you must know we both work and wake up very early in the morning. My child goes to school, so we all go to bed early. WE LOVE to meet people who stays with us, so this is not a hostel, this is a way to meet you, to make friends, and why not to share a dinner.
