My name is Jean, a french guy (in France, it's a male name ! And of you can pronounce it correctly, I offer you a beer :D), i'm 26 and living in Paris, after 2 awesome years living in Romania - where I kinda felt in love with the Balkans, and with traveling.
I'm easy going and interested in many things. I like to meet people and have fun with them !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience in July 2012 in Australia with my gf...Awesome ! Three different hosts (in Freemantle, Broome and Perth), and it was not only a couch : We went fishing, shared a beer at pub, had a BBQ... it was really an exchange with locals, and now I want to travel with this state of mind.

Interests

Discover the world by living like a local, not like a tourist.
I also like sport, and music. Actually, I am guitarist in a rock band and like to play with other musicians.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Progressive Rock (Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush...), but I am open and also listen to classical music (espacially Beethoven), electronica, rap...and of course 70's rock like Bowie, Hendrix...

Movies : I prefer to listen to music than to watch TV, but I'm a huge fan of Tarantino, and I like tv series like breaking bad, oz, community...

Books : L'etranger - Albert Camus, Le joueur d'echecs - Stefan Zweig

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was snorkelling in Exmouth (Australia) and I saw a whale shark. It was very close to me and I dind'nt even see its head, only its (huge) tail

But I prefer mountains, and that's why I went to Morocco for a one week trek in the atlas, to get to the summit of the Jbel Toubkal (highest point of Northern Africa). Great experience with great people !
