CURRENT MISSION

To drive from Italy to South-East Asia with my boyfriend in our van. We will follow the silk road route from Turkey and end up in Kyrgyzstan. Then travel by public transport from that point. It has been long planned and prepared for and we are so excited for possibly the trip of our lifetime! We hope to work in many places along the way and meet lots of people and learn as much from them as possible and have beautiful memories.

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, friendly girl who has caught the travel bug! I love to spontaneously head off to random places of the world to experience their culture and beauty. I have previously traveled around Asia and parts of Europe and Morocco and cant wait to get back out there! I learnt about couch surfing from a girl I met in Morocco about ten years ago whilst sleeping on the roof of a hostel and I couldnt believe such an amazing thing existed! I am currently teaching English and Maths online. I really enjoy teaching and also spending time with children in their creative world!

PHILOSOPHY

My current philosophy and goals are to live each moment in the now and just be :) Not to have expectations for things to just go with the flow and don't try and plan too much or rush things! Just relax and feel at peace.

Music: Ska, reggae, hiphop, dub, hard-tek and lots of bands like SOAD, Rage against the machine, tool, the doors, beatles :)

Books: I love reading fiction set in countries very unlike my own so I can learn about culture and history whilst getting lost in the book. I like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Khaleed Hossini, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Arundhati Roy and lots of classics too!

Movies: For the past few years I have really been getting into films and directors I have been watching Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanski, Wes Anderson, Salvador Dali, Juenet and Caro, Quentin Tarantino, Danny Boyle, Del Toro and lots of independent foreign films. Also anything with De Niro or Gary Oldman :)

I am a very happy and positive person and love to . I have many crazy experiences that I would love to share with people and hopefully they can learn something from them. My aim in life is to set up a childrens home for the street children of calcutta and I would love to stay with someone who has like-minded ideas :)
