First thing: I have 2 wonderful adult daughters, and even got to be Mr. Mom for several of their early years. Very close to them still.
Second thing: As a lawyer I personally tried a case in which I represented a class of all black lawyers, all black paralegals, and all black legal secretaries in the state of Mississippi against the Attorney General of Mississippi for discriminatory hiring. The case was in Mississippi federal court, and I won it! Supposedly first ever victory in initial trial for civil rights plaintiffs in Mississippi; won back pay and damages for every member of the plaintiff class.
