About Me
Me and my Timorese husband have a house with a spare room or 2. Big and beautiful but basic, there's a bed and a fan and a bucket shower. Also have a 1 year old so have to be okay with kids, but she's pretty cool. Interested in the kind of people who go couchsurfing round these parts and happy to introduce you to others who can show you around. We can teach you some tetum and hang out if we're not working. Apologies but not interested if you're just looking for a free hostel, so please include something personal or interesting in your message.

Music, Movies, and Books
Haven't had a tv for ages, so not much to write about there. Music tends to be friends' bands these days. Books there's too many to count... Australian history, seafaring tales, biographies, I have a small library if you wish to borrow some...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can chat about neuroscience stuff and teach you how to juggle? Or show you around Dili, meet some cool musos and artists and then you can have fun in this amazing country instead of being stuck in a ridiculously expensive hotel room.
