About Me

To not only see the world, but to experience it

I think I am probably similar to many other couchsurfers. I love to travel and when I am not traveling, I am dreaming about traveling. I love music, dance, culture, languages, food and politics from all around the world.

My favorite thing in the world is laughing and I do it all the time.

I speak English and Spanish fluently and am learning Portuguese.

Adventure, knowledge and wisdom are so deeply intertwined that they cannot be separated from one another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While in Berkeley I was hosting, but now I am traveling again and surfing with amazing people. I always enjoy going to CS events and meet ups.

My first CS experience was in Mexico. I CSed a few times in Latin America and more recently around the USA on various trips.

Day dreaming, dancing in the living room, traveling, languages, art, world music, classical music, writing, reading, international films, Latin America, book stores.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

What got me through my first backpacking experience was discovering the following: Its going to be ok. Once while lost, alone, penniless and in a dangerous part of Rome in the middle of the night I came to the conclusion that soon the sun would rise and I would be okay.
The most important part of traveling is assuring that first- you don't get into situations like that, and second- that if everything starts going wrong to stay calm, the morning will come.
