Having realised that life is too short and inspired by some amazing people, I decided to quit my job, travel to places I'd never been before and see what happens. My boyfriend, Rich, quit his job too and for the last few months we've been in South East Asia and now plan to spend a year in Australia. Our first stop is Perth and we have been really lucky to meet a lovely family that have introduced us to couch surfing and the couch surfing community. This has led us to see and experience so much more of Perth and WA than we ever would on our own and has also provided a home away from home.

We are both easy going and enjoy good food, drink, days at the beach swimming snorkelling paddle boarding or just lazing around with a ball to throw. We're both pretty active and like to get out and explore as much as we can/try most things. One of my favourite things is to jump on a bike and explore. Rich loves his sport and beer and has just taken up diving which he loves. My guilty pleasure is karaoke but i cant get Rich anywhere near one!

We are also incredibly respectful of people's homes and families and appreciate the kindness it takes to open up your home. We also love animals, dogs especially!

I've just discovered Paulo Coelho and have now got my hands on the Alchemist! Slight addiction to John Grisham books. The book that I simply couldn't put down and I often find myself thinking about is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, his other books are incredible too.
