Overview
About Me
I like to create crazy plans. For example I became a carpenter so I can build some day a hostel that looks like a pirate ship. I'm pretty sure I will do it. I love nature. And animals and kids. I absolutely love cooking and baking even though my skill level is 10.000 times far away from Jamie Oliver's. I try to keep my environmental footprint very small. I care a lot. For this planet, for the humans around me. I like to be sarcastic.
I'm a very outdoorsy person. I feel bad if I haven't been at least one time a day outside. One day I wanna do a through-hike.
I'm pretty much curious for everything. I don't think there exists anything that's not at least slightly interesting. I try to keep that curiosity with which I was blessed (or maybe cursed) as a kid.
Oh and I love discussions about today's society!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used Couchsurfing now for quite some time - as host and surfer. And I'm still a bit infatuated with the idea of CS. I met many wonderful people, had great conversations as well as lovely moments. And now that my living situation allows it again I would love to welcome again my CS fellas to my couch and home :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Alternative, Hardcore, Rock, Punkrock, Indie.. depends on my moods
Uff there has been quite a few over the years, most of them where related to social structures which appealed to me the most
Wes Anderson movies, Captain Fantastic, StarWars, 500 days of summer, Les choristes, Lotr,
Docunentaries "Human", Old Boy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once my best friend and me got totally lost at nighttime in Shanghai without working phones nor language skills and nearly no money left (cause we spent a fortune on beer in a local bar and got drunk with the barkeeper) but made it after hours of walking and haggling with 1 very intrusive Tuk Tuk driver and 7 Taxidriver back to our 45km far Airbnb apartment ALIVE!
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm I can teach different things like how to make weirdly shaped Gnocchi, how to awkwardly pretend you're a chicken or how to give foot massages that will initiate a birth by a pregnant person.
But hey I guess I'm not here to actually teach you something. It's rather about spending time together and if we learn something from each other (what definitely happens each time you meet some new) than I don't wanna nor can tell you beforehand what you're gonna learn haha.
In any case I love to listen to other people's experiences to find new perspectives of the world and society.
And I can definitely share a beer and a cooked meal while having a sarcastic conversation about some nonsense.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With love cooked meals, ironic and sarcastic jokes, a good listener and coziness with a cup of tea or beer
