I am a spirited person who enjoys the outdoors and travel. In recent years I sailed halfway around the world on a tall ship, traveled Europe and worked with the US Antarctic Program. I just moved to California with my boyfriend and we are starting to put down roots. We now have a place for hosting! Our home is located in Tehachapi, a small town near the Pacific Crest Trail, Mojave desert and many of California's natural wonders. We have two friendly dogs (one loves to cuddle) and a spare bedroom/bathroom for guests.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started couch surfing in 2014 and have stayed with three different people in Hungary and Romania. All great experiences. Now that I have a home base, I look forward to hosting people coming through my little town in California. I enjoy meeting people who are passionate and are doing interesting things with their lives.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I enjoy conversation and can share some of my adventures with you. I hope that you can share yours with me too! I don't mind helping out a bit in the home, be it walking a dog, babysitting or helping in the kitchen. I make a pretty tasty "fancy salad" with lots of yummy things in it.
