Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Communicating and networking are one of the greatest things in life - no matter how - I think. Each of us has lots of stories to tell and I'm really curious to hear yours and I hope you are interested in mine, too.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies at the moment are Marvel's Movies, Inception, The Imitation Game and the series Lie to Me and Lucifer. I think there's hardly a music genre I really dislike. But I could hear Jazz and piano music as well as Dubstep all day long. Recent discovery: Electro Tango.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Building up friendships on long distance train rides.
Teach, Learn, Share
In school I didn't like to learn languages, but now I realized that different languages tell different stories and I enjoy hearing stories. So I hope I'm going to learn a lot more new languages in the future. I have attended one course of Russian and Arabic to at least 'decrypt' the letters. Besides playing Chopin or Yiruma or jazzy pieces, I also like to improvise and broadcast my current mood through music - and that's actually easier than you might think. I would really enjoy teaching you that.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Knowledge about computers, a lot of tasty chocolate or being a humorous big talk conversationist :-D
My Interests
I love to play the piano and I am really interested in almost all kinds of sports from table tennis and volleyball to climbing, jogging and tai chi. Sometimes a good board game is as challenging as the above ;-) Computers, programming and this kind of magic is one of my passions - mainly cryptography (you're not the only one who does not really know what it is - but I will tell you if we meet up). Traveling to countries I've never been before, exploring new cultures and languages and meeting new open-minded people are as rewarding as reading a good biography.
