About Me

Hey! I’m Jerzy but you can call me Jerry — new to Couchsurfing but not new to adventures. I hitchhike, backpack, and sometimes just walk with no plan, trusting the road and good people. Easygoing, curious, and always up for sharing stories, music, or a chill evening. Let’s see where life crosses our paths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to meet people who see travel as more than sightseeing — who love sharing stories, ideas, and real moments. I may be new to Couchsurfing, but I’m not new to being kind, respectful, and curious about others. I believe that the best part of any journey is the people you meet along the way.

Interests

music, deep talks, psychology, hitchhiking, urban exploring, wild camping, spirituality, street food, surreal art, slow travel, philosophy, alternative culture

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
From The Beatles to Nirvana, from Jack White to Rammstein — I love raw sounds, honest lyrics, and anything that hits somewhere between your gut and your soul.

Movies:
I enjoy psychological thrillers, smart sci-fi, dark comedies, and anything that makes you question reality a little. Big fan of Fight Club, Mr. Nobody, Her, and Into the Wild.

Books:
Mostly non-fiction lately — psychology, spirituality, weird philosophy — but I also enjoy gritty fiction, dystopias, and anything by Bukowski or Dostoevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lost in the Malbork castle at the age of 5. My father said it was fun. He was looking for me for a couple of hours in the times of no safety cameras in the biggest castle in Poland.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can share or teach:
How to hitchhike with a smile, how to pack light (and still forget something), deep conversations, basic Polish, some music recs you’ve probably never heard, and a bit of street smarts from life on the road.

What I’d love to learn:
Your favorite local spots, how you see the world, easy recipes from your culture, and anything weird, wise or wonderful you’re up for sharing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m an easygoing guest who respects your space and culture. I love sharing stories, cooking simple meals, and helping out around the place. I’m curious and open-minded, so I’m always up for meaningful conversations or just relaxing vibes. Plus, I bring good energy and a willingness to learn from you.
