HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Traveling the world is more than just seeing...it's about experiencing the culture. When I travel I always attempt learn as much as I can from the people and places around me, in addition, to sharing my experiences with those who care. "my purpose is to be the change that i want to see in the world" (~Gandhi) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Without a doubt the CS community has really opened my eyes to traveling the world. I have time and time again found myself surrounded by caring individuals that place special emphasis on embracing me into their culture. I have been dumbfounded by the way people of other cultures made my experiences paramount to nothing less only because they wanted to have me experience all that I could during my visit. The philosophy behind CS is solid, while stories of how people manipulate it for their own benefits, there majority of the people within the community outshine them.
