I am a musician and a public transit and safe streets advocate. My family lives in Santa Cruz, CA, which is a beautiful town in on the central California coast, located on the Monterey Bay. I like to ride my bike as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like goofy action movies, small interesting movies and movies about food. For example, Pulp Fiction, The Avengers, Tampopo, Drugstore Cowboy, The Imposters, and other offbeat stuff like that.

I read mainly fantasy, science fiction and nonfiction. I like non-fiction books about food, history, and medicine. Some favorite non-fiction bools are 'Guns Germs and Steel,' 'A Primate's Memoir,' and 'Consider the Lobster.'
