About Me

hay! I am from Manchester in the UK but have been travelling on and off for a wee while now. I'm currently working and travelling around Australia and would love to see some new places and meet some new faces.

I love the outdoors as much as I love to party. I love live music and sometimes review music for a UK based folk magazine.

I'm a pretty positive person and fairly laid back. I tend to think of most things as an opportunity for a funny story if nothing else and this outlook has treated me well so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently traveling on my own and think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet some different people and to connect with a slightly different travelling scene, I hope to make some new friends and be inspired along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read 'A Little Life' recently. holy.

I tend to gravitate towards tuneful alternative music. I love to dance to motown. I have pretty ecclectic taste and also tend to love anything on the radio...

I am also an avid radio drama fan which is quite embarrassing but such is life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016 I drove with my fantastic friend from Darwin to Perth, this was an amazing experience and the landscapes we discovered were truly unforgettable.

On a different note I decided a few years back that I no longer decided I wanted to be a fashion/ music journo and instead decided to go farming. I've lambed a fair few sheep and worked in the wool sheds in New Zealand - pretty out there but pretty amazing. The last few year has been a bit of a surprise but I feel extremely lucky to have forged this unconventional path!
