I'm currently working at a Buddhist retreat center in the Rockies. I enjoy a simple lifestyle and practice mindfulness and compassion in my daily life. At first introduction I'm often socially awkward but I really do love having conversations with people and listening to good stories. I'm not much into wild parties, would much rather a quiet evening with good people and good food/wine.

I want to explore the world and different walks of life. I want to experience life as an adventure, an exploration of ideas, feelings and beliefs. I want to get to know myself better through discovery and reflection.

Intereses

I like cooking, baking (especially bread), writing and drawing in my journal, crocheting and knitting. I'm trying to relearn the violin after a long hiatus but my progress is slow. I haven't been grimacing in ages but I really enjoyed it when I did, though I never got very good at it.
