Hi friends! We are Jess and Tony. In our backpacks we bring with us two spunky daughters, a one year-old and a three year-old. They are what we like to call adapta-babies, and have always been so good about bouncing around from house to house, country to country with us. Tony and I have both been traveling since we were 17 years old. We met in Germany early 2007 and have been wandering together ever since.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
On our adventures we have been fortunate enough to meet people along the way who have been so wonderful and hospitable. We have learned so much from these beautiful souls who have taken us into their homes. It is our favorite aspect of traveling. Life as wanderers has changed a lot now that we have children but we are not willing to let that stop us from tasting the world. We were once two brave stealth-campers, jumping from place to place as quickly as we wanted to. Our movements these days are a bit slower-paced and slightly (very slightly) better planned.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
It is difficult to choose just one thing. Our lives have been exciting and fulfilling. One memory we are particularly fond of is hiking in 50 degrees Celsius through the Moroccan Riff Mountains, while fasting from both food and water for a month during Ramadan. It was an empowering experience that we would absolutely repeat.
Teach, Learn, Share
It is better to travel well than to arrive Buddha To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries Aldous Huxley If you never have you should, these things are fun and fun is good Dr. Seuss
What I Can Share With Hosts
The one thing we can count on to provide are smiles from our sweet children. They bring joy to everyone around them and are always good for a laugh.
My Interests
We are very interested in traveling, obviously. We adore languages. We have a passion for learning how to cook new foods.. and eating them! We do not smoke or drink. We have bedtimes and nap-times (at least the girls do)
