Hi! Just call me Jia.
I'm Malaysian Chinese and currently a hospitality student in Switzerland.
A few key words, I'd say I'm friendly, easygoing, open-minded, talkative(when you want to).
But that's too general. I'm not a very interesting person, nor I have fancy experiences to share with yet. Therefore I can't wait to meet you and hear your stories. People always amaze me with different kinds of experiences. One of the reasons that I'm on the road is because I'd like to gather inspirations to go further each time, see them with my own eyes, in this beautiful world, and someday, become a storyteller.
Until we meet each other, take good care!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is all about getting known to that place in a local way, meeting strangers and create your own memories. Also, isn't it nice that we can help each other?
I'm not really an active person... but I like walking and cycling! I’m very interested in eating tho. Not a good cook but enjoy small cooking...
Music, Movies, and Books
I love bossanova, jazz and acoustic covers.
Big fan of kpop (hardcore vip if you know kpop). I enjoy every kind of movies, especially those which brainstorms a lot, except horror.
Let's keep some more to ourselves and talk when we meet:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every new try is amazing to me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Mandarin, and I'm learning French currently. It would be nice if I can learn something that you're good at from you. I'd love to learn dancing despite the fact that I'm a dance idiot lol.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My country- Malaysia's culture. If you happens to have Southeast Asia in your travel plan, pay Malaysia and me a visit! I can show you a lot of interesting things, especially food;)
I'm not good in cooking but if you like I can make my favourite food for you. (The only dish that I'm good at)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand
