And almost 4 years of living and working in Singapore from 2018 to early 2021. Unfortunately with pandemic, I had to come home but all is well as I had transitioned to a new work & life set-up called "remote/now hybrid" as Sourcing and Data Consultant where I applied all my acquired knowledge from abroad and social intelligence skills of meeting all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

self-claim backpacker as of January 2019. Learning the ropes of solo traveling combined with acquainting new people along the way!

My love for traveling came from my mum when she was still 6th months pregnant carrying me on a flight from Riyadh Saudi Arabia to Manila in the 90s, I was a fetus back then of course (~✨sounds chessy classic storyline but you can tell it has embedded to where life has taken me~😆) And then at 8yo set off my first local trip taking commercial passage ship, traveling across Luzon, Visayas to Mindanao exploring all 3 other state islands of the Philippines. First time rode a low-cost aircraft Cebu Pacific when I was 10 years old as part of my family accompanying our late grandma to her final resting place in Butuan City, Mindanao.

Fast forward 2017, been going around the provinces at mum’s old town in Luzon riding provincial buses in weekends every now and then from Manila to remote areas with limited signal and data.

All of these gave me a strong desire to achieve in life of a backpacker while holds a career in digital tech space among other things I wanna be.

Doing nudism in Gold Coast! Yup, sure you read that right - I’ll have to thank my host for that 😌. Never in my entire existence will have such a liberating experience ~ biggest shoutout to Matti, my host from Tweeds! This one by far just made me really living in the moment and also perfect way ending 2024 with lasting memory!
