About Me

Trying, in my way, to be free...

I love CouchSurfing and I've been using it for several years. I met incredible people and genial hosts during my journeys in the US, Latin America, India, and Northern Europe.

I'm an outgoing person and I'm happy to share with others anything I'm passionate about: movies, literature, art, traveling, history, environmentalism, yoga, hiking...
Furthermore, I write fiction and I am always up for listening to a good story: watch out because I might steal some details from your life and distil them into one of my short stories!

I grew up in Italy, then I moved to the UK and Sweden for university. Now I'm traveling around Europe with the excuse of looking for a job, but in reality I'm greatly enjoying discovering new cities and being hosted by old and new-found friends! A few years ago I worked in India for several months and this taught me a lot about developing countries and social issues. Needless to say that living in India is a life-changing experience...

I think my references suffice to prove you that I'm a trustworthy person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19 years old I packed my backpack and flew to the US on my own. At the time my command of English was quite poor and I had no plans whatsoever for my journey through the US: well, for several months I lived on the road (hitch-hiking, seeking for hospitality from random people, walking huge distances between towns...) and that was the most important experience in my whole life. I really learned something valuable about myself and my life hasn't been the same ever since!
