To experience something new every day....
I am a Polish-American photographer with a lifetime of domestic travel. With my new career I have the freedom to see the world, one country at a time. A new adventure in life, a lifelong dream to be a vagabond for a spell. It's an eerie sense of total freedom when my only living relative is a brother on the other side of the country. Possibly move somewhere else? Doesn't matter: HOME is where I am.
I'm also happy to help you with Oregon travel suggestions.
I'm very easy-going, laid back and am most comfortable with others who feel the same way. After being a Type-B person in a Type-A world, I choose now to explore; that's what I've always enjoyed anyhow.
Learning about places and lives from CS'ers is very rewarding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am both guest and a host. I've enjoyed all of those times and have met some great people. I love the stories people tell and I have my own to share, suggestions of things to do..
I have a couch available as long as I'm not traveling. Camping out back in the summer. I can help you with travel ideas for the Pacific Northwest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked for 3 months in Australia. Trekked from Brisbane around to Melbourne, Perth for a concert, stayed on couches at apartments and farms and met a lot of awesome people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love good conversation, and as a Mensan am open to a good debate about anything. I teach English in Poland during the summer when I can, I'm a Toastmaster and like to coach new members.
