I am a musician working in the music-tourist entertainment business. Music is my life and I love to travel doing what I love.
I play guitar, bass, drums, sing and I'm currently learning how to play piano. I have my solo project called Jimmy Loop Music where I play all the instruments and produce the music live (one man band show)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I grew up in one of the most touristy areas of my country, so I have met people from many parts of the world who opened my eyes to travel and do what I love.

Since 2014 I started to help traveler to stay at my place and give them an idea how's the real life in Costa Rica, traditions, food, music and culture.

I studied Sustainable Rural Tourism, and I believe in the impact that tourism brings if we don´t do it properly

Intereses

I'm a busy musician in Costa Rica, I play gigs almost every night.
So as part of my life style, I need to get new experiences and be motivated, so I decided to do what I do everday, but in diferent parts of the world.

I'm very interested in culture, history, anthropology, music, gastronomy and also, helping people to believe in their dreams, so I can make mine true.

I love music, that's the first thing I think about when I wake up everday.
When I was a teenager I considered my self as a "Rocker", now I am more open-minded and I listen to a wide variety of music and I'm always learning from each style of music.

I had the oportunity of going to the "real middle of the world" in Ecuador.
I went to Semuc Champey in Guatemala wich is an amazing sacred place and unique in the world.
I saw real mummies in Mexico
I backpacked Nicaragua when I was 22 years old
I toured Cuba, playing music in "La Cruzada del Ché"
I sold everything I had in Costa Rica and moved to the USA in 2018
I had a Rock Band in California
I've been in Mexico 5 times (playing music and chillin)
I used to play at the New York Subway (busking)

2024 - I'm currently playing music for living ❤️
