Many of my friends call me Jing, I'm Chinese and have been living in New Zealand for 15 years, the combination of China and New Zealand's culture have shaped into who I am today. I'm a very active person and enjoy lots activities, such as rock climbing, slacklining, scuba diving. Wondering around in a new place can be relaxing and fascinating, this has to be my favorite activity while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever people ask me what do I love about traveling the most, I always say the people. I love to be able to meet the local people, to see their daily life. Of course, I also love to show people around my town. I have my Auckland wonders list, which I use for most of my visitors and very proud of the beautiful place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job and came to Italy. My love for the beautiful country has empowered me to leave my job and have a very different lifestyle. Before I've never thought I'll able to travel for than 3 weeks, because I need my home comfort, but this experience has grown my comfort zone to a new level.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I'm a real Jack of all trades so end up not really good at anything I do, but I'm happy to teach anything I know
Learn - My wide range of interest which has been keep growing, one year my new year resolution was not to learn anything new. Like any other NY resolution, it didn't carry through the year. So I'd love to learn new culture, new language, new activities.
Share - I'd like to share my happiness, my culture, my food, my stupid stories which I can only laugh about.
