Hello!

My name is Jirka, I´m guy from the Czech Republic who decided to start travel with his girlfriend Jana this year. I studied CTU in Prague, but then I went to Iceland where I spent 5 months, now I am in Ireland. We both really enjoy travel, one of the most amazing things about it are the people!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way how to meet local people, share experiences and adventures, improve language skills.. I don't have Couchsurfing experiences so far, but I would like to have. On the other side, I have many experiences with volunteering (Workaway) and living among new families. My Czech hometown Žatec is a really interesting place, it was nominated for UNESCO and in the future, I would love to host other people and show him that place.

音乐、电影和书籍

I enjoy all kinds of music, it always depends on my mood :) In the gym, I prefer music such as Mastodon, Korn or Skindred, but also some electro music - Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. But my specialty is the morning! In the morning I love to listen Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone or some classic rock music such as Rolling Stones in their early years, Pink Floyd and many more :))
But of course I have to mention some Czech music, I´m from Strakonice town and I´m a big patriot - Backpipe music is my favorite too.
Now in Ireland, I like to listen to traditional Irish music - the best is in the pub!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

These days I am really into one urban project I plan to make back in the Czech Republic together with my girlfriend and couple of friends. I believe that it will be a really amazing thing which helps to make the town better, funnier and nicer and it helps to stop the brain drain :))

I am happy to share any experiences and knowledge I currently have - traveling, sport, and many more. I won´t be against any common activity such as watching movies, cooking or city exploring

I can show you my photos from Iceland and Ireland, describe life on the sheep farm and life in Iceland in general - it is really different than a normal tourist experience. Of course, I can speak a lot about Czech Republic or other Europian countries I visited.

Both - me and my girlfriend are friendly people, so don´t hesitate to talk to us and ask about anything you need to know :)
