I write words in various formats (plays, screenplays, and prose) and make music (I studied classical guitar in school and I write songs). I like to make people laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

no clear definitive personal philosophy at this time. I'm thinking it has something to do with avoiding the trappings of materialism and trying to do some good in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure yet as I'm about to move to a tiny Washington DC apartment for a year. Right now I'm in Rome, Italy and have been here for the past three years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted some people and they suggested I become a couchsurfing member. So here I am. A couch surfing member!

i just read phillip roth's "american pastoral" and some steve martin novellas. david foster wallace is pretty good. i just saw orson welles' "touch of evil." strange and good it was. i enjoy most popular music from the 70's and 80's and should probably be listening to something more sophisticated (and even do sometimes) but-curse the gods-i must go back to the hearth and home of the 70's popular music at least once a week.
