HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not able to host, but am able to meet anyone visiting Ottawa for coffee or a drink. I travel allot for work so also enjoy meeting people where I find myself. I'm a vegan, but not looking to convert you :) Variety and differing opinions are the spice of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Virgin green-bean. It's tricky since I don't travel much outside of work.

For music, I am definitely a beat lover. Atop the list are broken beats; drum n' bass, new-skool breaks, ill downtempo. I also enjoy techno, house, psy-trance etc. Also enjoy trippy ambient... and a touch of conscious, intelligent hip-hop. Back in the day I was big into hiphop and heavy metal.

Movies that have affected me at different times include Scarface, Kids, Pulp Fiction, Airplane, The Great Escape, most Clint Eastwood westerns and Sean Connery or Roger Moore era James Bond.

Authors I've enjoyed include Tom Robbins, Gary Renard, Ken Wilber, Jeffrey Archer.

When my family lived in Kenya (I was 3), a monkey jumped on my back! I freaked out apparently.

I've accomplished many personal goals, and always find it amazing to strike something off the list.

Teach: My ever-evolving life philosophy is centred around forgiveness of myself and of others (when they screw up, but also when I perceive something that isn't necessarily so and am upset about it). It's rather liberating!

Learn: I am constantly intrigued by others, and go into every interaction hoping to take something beneficial away.

Share: Our great gift is who we are. I want to share and learn.
