ABOUT ME

Lived here and there in Europe, but I still call Canada home. Love to relax, but a night out is always a good time to meet more people.

I like to stay active, so hitting the beach for a swim or getting to a park with friends for a picnic. Life is too short to stay indoors.

I think that traveling defines who you are and reveals things about you to other people as well as yourself.

People will call me the most laid back person in the world, but I am destined to find someone who is even more relaxed.

PHILOSOPHY

Pay it Forward always seems like a good concept and it is always true to start off small and to go from there.

I respect everyone I meet as everyone has a different side of a story and I like to play devils advocate.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been a proud couchsurfer and some of my closest friends I've met through this organization. Happy to add more.

I've surfed in Portugal, Greece and New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and like to host when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crashing at the odd place here and there and probably places that I shouldn't have.

Joao and Danielle in Portugal and Ira in Greece and Jo in Auckland. Alex & Luis in San Fran. Great to meet everyone.

Stefan in Copenhagen and Ola in Bielsko. Great to keep this going.

Foreign films are amazing. Motorcycle Diaries, Ong Bak, Love me if you Dare, Amelie. Other great stuff like Wanted, Everything is Illuminated, American Beauty, Searching for Bobby Fisher. I love all the bizarre films.

Any music with a great beat is fantastic.

I hope to learn about another culture. I think that is always best learned from a local than from someone who may be traveling with you.

I hope that I can offer a few tidbits on life, but life is about learning.
