About Me

I am a very curious and proactive listener/learning. I love cooking, it brings my life joy to be in the kitchen and make adjustments based off of taste. I am a casual chef, but an eager one at that. I am naturally optimistic and happy, it is one of my many blessings. At times, I am too "in the moment" and I am looking to balance more of my life goals. In example-spending too much money trying different street foods and then not having enough money to buy my subway ticket back home. I really enjoy communicating with others, sharing ideas and finding different outlets for creativity and self-expression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet others who enjoy human interaction and learning from each other. So I'm on couchsurfing to learn from those who have the experience of doing so and share what life has given me to offer. I have moved to South Korea, I will start working in Seoul in about two weeks. Before this, I would like to use my free time to learn as much of my host country's culture as possible. I am hoping to spend time in a Korean household so that I can learn of its customs, and not to leave out, to learn of my individual hosts and their life perspectives and paths. I really appreciate bonding with others and being a guest in another's home is a humbling experience for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-Rachmaninoff
Movie-The Life of Pi (Have yet to read the book on which it's based off hahaha)
Book- Tolstoy's "War and Peace"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been able to minimalize my life quite substantially relative to what it was before. It is amazing for me because it took a long time for me to be able to detach myself from some possessions which were weighing me down. Overall, a very liberating experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- my perspective, English, Italian,
Learn-other perspectives, ideas, languages, and cooking styles
Share-laughter, meals, joy

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always happy to share my faith with others, if they are interested in the discussion, that is. If not, I am an honest person, if chores are to be done, I'll do them with integrity. I love giving a helping hand. If asked, I will share my opinions and perspective. In any case, I will share my optimism.
