Hello and welcome! I’m Joan a Brazilian living in beautiful Barcelona and constantly discovering new corners of this city.

I work in IT finance at a multinational company, but outside the office I’m usually exploring, traveling, or enjoying good conversations with interesting people from around the world.

I’ve been part of Couchsurfing since 2009, and it has brought me unforgettable experiences, deep talks at random hours, spontaneous adventures, and friendships that somehow still feel like home.

At home, I share my space with my daughter on some days and my very opinionated cat every day 😄
If you’re an animal lover, you’ll probably get bonus points from her.

I enjoy long walks around the city, hidden viewpoints, Brazilian food, discovering local cafés, and exchanging stories that actually mean something.
I like people who are curious, kind, open-minded, and not afraid to step outside their comfort zone.
