Hey! I am Johanna, a 33 year old from Berlin, Germany. I like to travel the world, have been in many countries already. I am very curious, love to try new food and meet new people. I want to understand the culture and minds of the people in the country I visit. I am a really easygoing person who respects the privacy and time of other people. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did my first backpacking trip ever with CouchSurfing. It was 2012 and I met the most amazing people. I don't know why I stopped traveling this way, that's why I am picking it up again! I love to meet new people, get to know the culture of the country through them. I want to pay for my stay in case you are able to host me longer. For me staying with locals is way more interesting experience than staying in a boring and sterile hotel room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful travel I have made was to Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan. The mountains are breathtaking and the people so kind and welcoming. I cannot imagine a more beautiful place.
