I grew up and currently live in central North Carolina- I'm a guitarist and songwriter who performs and teaches music. I play original music as a solo artist and with my group Westmoreland and I play guitar in a West African fusion band called Kaira Ba. I'm interested in cultures, songs, stories, traditions, and good company!

I'm on couch surfing because I'm a traveling musician who enjoys meeting kind folks all around the world! Also, financially it's so helpful to have something like couch surfing which makes it easier for us musicians and wandering types to have places to stay when we travel!

I'm an easy going and respectful person who can be quite extraverted but also appreciates solitary time. In general I'm very accommodating of other peoples needs and personalities. I like to laugh and share stories and life experiences and have interesting conversations.
