About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Give, serve, follow guidance and create community

ABOUT ME

I like people and enjoy the collaboration in my shared home and community. As such I have been volunteering on many projects to support community sustainability in Nelson. I also love to ski, hike, paddle and bicycle with friends. Lately I have been enjoying the many dance events in town and Im also taking guitar lessons and sing in a choir.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live
live simply so others can simply live.
I try to be aware of and sensitive to feelings and needs for myself and others and to go light on mother nature. I like to join with others to co- create.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of traditional music, jazz, I like Sting, Santana, Van Morrison, Elton John, Salsa and Basa Nova. Books- James Mitchners historical fiction series are unreal and Isabelle Allende and Paulo Couelo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I followed my inspiration and started a street festival and a community farm project.

Teach, Learn, Share

Communicating our needs or wants can be done by making a request.
Just say "I have a request, can I borrow your bike for an hour or so"? If you are really requesting then you need to be able to hear no, or not now, and be alright. a request is not a demand.

Countries I’ve Visited
