ABOUT ME

Well, on the surface, I am John Francis McCullagh. I play the fife, guitar, ocarina, and violin. I love to swing dance and I love kung fu. My favorite colors are green and black, favorite numbers are 4 and 8, and my favorite word is 'forever'.
Also I am a vegetarian (though I do eat fish).
I am an Irish Catholic and proud of it. I love languages. I speak French, learning Russian, I've created my own language, and I hope to be fluent in at least: French, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Gaelic, My own language, and Italian. I would also like to study Latin, Aramaic, and Egyptian, but I'm not too concerned with becoming fluent in those three.
I am a writer, both stories and screenplays, and I am a film director (not going to be, but am, it is my destiny).
I am a very passionate person. When I want to learn something I devote my time to learning it. School wasn't the best place for me because I wasn't interested in what they taught. But when it comes to my subjects I am the best student.
I love adventure. I haven't gone on too many adventures and I am working to change that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfed to and from New Hampshire! First couch surfing experience so far, it was awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crashed a night in Virginia on my road trip to New Hampshire, and crashed a night in Mississippi on the way back. I liked it a lot, it's cool meeting new people that I would never meet otherwise.

Well, I love to teach so if there is anything that I know that you would like to learn just ask. I speak French and I used to be a French tutor, so I can teach that. Soon I'll know Russian so I can teach that as well soon enough.
I absolutely love to dance, especially east coast swing dancing! But I also know the basics of waltz and tango. I also enjoy just dancing around with no particular style.
I practice kung fu and I am quite knowledgeable on the basics of Long Fist kung fu. I'm no master, by any means, but I can teach the basics and philosophy of kung fu and chi kung.
I'm deeply spiritual and religious and I love to counsel and teach whenever I can.
One can't really teach someone to be less shy or more outgoing, but I certainly can be a guide into the realm of making a fool of yourself. Because, after all, life is more fun if you make an ass of yourself once in a while.
