CURRENT MISSION Discover new cultures and new ways of Being ABOUT ME I am tall and love life and meeting new people. I love the sunlight and the moonlight, and all the other lights in the sky. I really enjoy the arts: music, theatre, contemporary art practices, dance, performance etc. I love books and ideas and discussing them. I also really enjoy films (see short director list below). I have just finished my undergraduate degree in Canada and really want to get out of North America, to be in a new place with new people. I am very excited!!! PHILOSOPHY "harmonhaos" a term i use indicating the complex beauty of life: a mix of harmony and chaos. positivity and honesty. I also want to learn to be a better person, by seeing the world and meeting more people, learning from them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have just become a member, or participator, and my first step is to go Surfing, to meet some great and magical people. To learn and have some smiles along the way.

mov: lars von trier, robbe-grillet, lynch, TARKOVSKY muse: brian eno, philip glass, arvo part, fugazi Book: I have been reading soooo so much philosophy to finish my undergrad (Habermas, Husserl, Sartre, Merleau Ponty, Charles Taylor) and i am excited to move into some layman's neuroscientific books about consciousness and perception re: Julian Jaynes and Norman Doidge. I think i will also start reading "The Cosmological Eye" by henry miller.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I made a 14 minute video for Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth for Audio/Visual Band/Screening troupe "Text of Light" in 2008. It was great for me because i admire his work so much and then got to do something nice for/ or with him . . .
