I went to Argentina barely speaking any Spanish, and I remember the moment the plane landed and none of the announcements were in English! I actually lost weight in the next month because for the first part I was so lost I couldn't even get food (the internet wasn't great in Argentina then). But on the flip side I found myself speaking Spanish in a month. Talk about a crash course!
