Overview
About Me
I'm not hosting anymore. I only keep my profile active so that friends and former guests/hosts can still find and contact me.
I'm a 31-year-old high-school teacher living with my wife Steffi and our doggies Manda and Neffie in a cozy four-room apartment. I love history and languages and try to be active in the CS-Community not just by hosting, but also by offering regular events for all travelers coming to Augsburg. I'm a relaxed person and spend most of my spare-time (if I have any :D) either playing video games, listening to audio books or travelling around the world on my motorbike or an old camping bus!
When you send a request, please mention my dogs so that I know that you've at least skimmed though my profile. I've had guests, who were allergic to dogs, stand in front of my house because they didn't read my profile and I had to send them away, which was really awkward, so I hope you understand! :-)
Also, you really don't need to bring any presents! If you do feel like gifting us something, a post card from your home town or something tiny that we can put on our fridge will be perfectly fine ;)
I was Couchsurfing Ambassador from 2019-2020.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to start every morning with a smile. This way, i'm in a good mood all day long :) Also, I structure my live as well as I can so I get through my duties efficiently! I know, that sounds very German, but I have actually planned my life out until the year 2029 :-P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We gladly offer our home to whoever needs a place to stay! We have a comfortable couch in our living room and an entire guest room. I've uploaded pictures of both rooms :-)
I've also used couchsurfing as a guest in Great Britain, Czechia and all over Scandinavia. I was amazed as to how well this system works and how many friendly people I could meet by using it!
I also offer regular events in Augsburg like Sightseeing tours, visiting the zoo/botanic garden in summer or teaching ice-skating in winter.
Interests
Traveling, Dogs, Art, Fantasy novels (Warcraft!), Videogames (RPGs or Strategy games mostly), History (especially ancient and medieval times), The English language, American/British series (only those with intelligent humor, I love Doctor Who)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Basically all epic fantasy novels.
Series: Mostly historical/fantasy/science fiction, so I love Doctor Who, which combines all genres!
Music: I don't listen to music very often, but I like almost everything cheerful!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Becoming an AntiVegan-MeatAvoider! I avoid both meat (because eating too much meat is unsustainable) and vegetables (because they are yucky!). I also prefer my food and drinks to be purple.
Teach, Learn, Share
Augsburg has a small, lovely city centre and I'll gladly show you around, if you like!
In my flat I have spare bedding, towels and you can use my kitchen, if you want to cook. If you ask nicely, I may even cook something local for you ;-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
You may pet my doggies! :-))
