find a place in Oulu (Finland) to stay for at least one day before I travel to Tornio to start my adventure education minor course

ABOUT ME

hello stranger! My name is Jonne, 23 year old guy from Nijmegen, I have an active job in event facilities and am also a student at the social academy here in Nijmegen. Further more I love to sing, play guitar, write, read, practice sports ( all different kinds, but especially acrobatics, urban climbing and just running and jumping around) I love physical work and fixing stuff and also I find it pretty hard not to communicate a lot.

After moving around a lot for three years I decided to go back to my parents place ( the house where I was born) and rent a room there since it was vacant. The top floor of the house is always occupied by two young people, of wich in this case I am one. My parents are really the best people you can imagine and our house has always been somewhat of a hotel so don't be rejected by the fact that I am living in one house with my parents, I chose to live there again after a couple of years because it is really a fantastic place to live.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow three r's, respect for myself, respect for others and responsibility for all my actions, further I am pretty open minded so pretty much anything goes, no problems with (non) religious people, left or right winged people vegans or meat eaters, I judge people by their actions, not their believes since those are pretty relative ( at least that's what I think)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I am accepted to surf somewhere I will try my very best to be helpful, I can do dishes pretty well, cook simple but good food, and back home I practice shoulder and back massages a lot, so if wer'e both comfortable with it, even a good backmassage in return for a spot on your floor/couch/sofa/matras is an option :-)

Couchsurfing seems to me as a perfect way to really get an interesting bond with a country an it's inhabitants. I have no experience with surfing myself, but I would love to get my first one as soon as possible.

For the moment I am just looking for someone in Oulu to make me able to adjust to Finnish culture because I wil be staying there for about three months to run my adventure education minor course in Tornio. I will be arriving there 28th of August, and my lessons start the 3rd of september, so it's really just one to three days that I really need a place to stay close to Tornio.

Further more I have room for at least one person at my house in Nijmegen, but it's also possible for two or three people to stay at my place for a little while

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No actual couchsurfing experience, though I have had visitors from france, switzerland, brasil and germany.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

there is to much! standing next to a geyser in iceland, walking coles barefoot, travel through spain and portugal, visit the sziget festival, build tents pretty much anywere in Nederland, spit fire, perform in Nijmegens' biggest popstage ( as lead singer), seen a full solar ecplipse, there should be more but I don't know right now
