Living in coolest city in north America: New Orleans, Louisiana = Nola love
My home is my art/photography studio (just opened) - www.joshhaileystudio.com
If you would like to stay please send a REQUEST, due to a fresh move, an art market lifestyle, and general all overness I will probably send you a MAYBE request with my phone number to text me closer to the time you reach NOLA. I do love to host, and this city is super popular, sadly I can't put you all up at the inn. Please do check out what we do before copying and pasting something, serious surfers are my fave. I WON'T BOTHER HOSTING YOU unless you do your homework, let me know something you like from our project. Sorry, getting out of hand with requests in Nola.
I am an artist/photographer from Jackson, Mississippi. I just finished a massive project called PHOTAMERICA in which I went around the country for 2 years (couch surfing yes!) documenting the GOOD, the BAD, and the BEAUTIFUL of America (2012-2013). We ended up making 6 individual pieces of art per State, Interviewing 3 americans a day on various topics, plus making badass music videos per State. YOU CAN SEE IT ALL (and order something if you want) at
love is the answer. You give as much as you can to anyone who needs it. It is all planned beyond our knowing. Be good to others and it will come back to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I traveled and experienced this country and others only by the generosity of my fellow couch surfers. I think it is an amazing community of givers and givers who make the world a better place. We are all on a mission that we cannot complete alone.
I have travelled widely and couch surfed with friends. I've also hosted quite a few people. All of my couch surfing experiences have been positive and I would love to share my passions with you and hear yours.
Photography, people, fun, life, all things that are good, exploring, sharing, documenting, and working on this Photamerica project I keep talking about.
