Soy un cincuentón con ganas de renovarse. Me he criado en Asturias, una región al norte de España. Durante mi juventud, viajé algo; pero menos de lo que me hubiera gustado. Soy profesor de Geografía e Historia y Español desde hace más de veinte y cinco años en Oviedo, mi ciudad natal. También trabajo en un sindicato de profesores. Tengo un hijo. Se llama Fernando y es mi ángel, aunque empieza a volar solo.
I am a fifty-year-old open to a new experiences. I was brought up in Asturias, a region in the north of Spain. When I was younger, I traveled something but less than I would have liked. I have been teaching Geography, History and Spanish for more than twenty five years in Oviedo, my home town. I work also for a teachers' union. I have a son. His name is Fernando and he is my angel although he is starting to fly by himself.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Este verano nos vamos a Nueva York, Boston y Bangor (Maine). Mi hijo Fernando lo haremos en julio. Seguimos siendo fieles seguidores de la filosofía de couchsurfing. Sabemos que la idea de fomentar entre la gente la hospitalidad y la confianza en los demás sin que medie el dinero sigue siendo algo por lo que merece la pena dar ejemplo.
This summer we are travelling around Nueva York, Boston and Bangor (Maine). My son Fernando and I will do it in July. We are believers in couchsurfing. We know that it is worth hosting people or being hosted by people where money has no value.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Tom Waits y Jacques Brel son mis cantantes favoritos. Cuando era joven, me encantaba Radio Futura, un grupo español. Me encanta el cine. Suelo ir con mi madre al cine todas las semanas. Para mí sería muy difícil elegir un libro entre todos los que me han gustado. Cuando era un joven estudiante, me dedicaba básicamente a leer. Ahora tengo menos tiempo para hacerlo. Me encanta leer obras de teatro.
Tom Waits and Jacque Brel are my favourite singers. When I was younger, I loved Radio Futura, a spanish band. I love movies, I go with my mother to the moviehouse every week. It would be difficult to choose my favourite books, because reading was my regular occupation when I was a young student. Now I have less time to do it. I like reading plays.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Creo que todas las cosas que he hecho resultarían bastante creíbles si las contara, por lo que no sé muy bien qué escribir aquí. A lo mejor, mi hijo Fernando podría ser increíble, pero es que yo soy su padre.
If I tell everything I have done or lived, I think that everybody would believe it because my life is not extraordinary so I do not know what to write here. Maybe, my son Fernando could be incredible, I am his father though.

Puedo enseñar todo lo que sé y, como profesor, aprendo todos los días que lo que yo enseño es menos importante que lo que yo aprendo. Compartiré mi casa.
I can teach everything I know. As a teacher, once I learned that everything I teach to my pupils is less important than I learn from them. I will share my home.
