I am a recent East Coast transplant living in Monterey, CA. Outside of work, I like hiking, mountain biking, and almost anything outdoors. I signed up for my first half marathon coming up in April, along with the Sea Otter Classic, a big mountain biking event in Monterey. I like traveling (obviously), even if that means right in my backyard. Santa Cruz and Big Sur are two frequented destinations of mine. I lived in New Zealand for 4 months, and I love meeting like-minded travelers like myself.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to host travelers in the Monterey area. I have unofficially hosted many guests before via my roommate, and I enjoy hearing good stories. I also believe that if one day the situation is reversed, someone will have my back.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Country, Rap, pretty much anything in between. Movies: Interstellar, Shooter, I don't really watch too many movies. Books: 4 Hour Workweek, I read a lot of nerdy technical stuff that I'm interested in.
